As many people might know, portuguese cinema doesn't produce the latest hit and run movies. So this was a bit of a surprise to me, because it is much better than lots of Hollywood soft comedies. Casting Diogo Infante, one of the best portuguese actors of all time, this movie can take you away from the stressed lives we all live in these days. And please notice, comedies, are not, by far, my preferable genre of movies. And I must say that if this was an american production I would give it less a point in my vote, but since it surprised me, coming from Portugal, I'll give it 7.

i really don't know what was the story of this film. has it a story anyway? i don't know. but i enjoyed the movie and especially the shots with catarina furtado. her play is very successful and her beauty lets me to see the film. and the art direction: it was successful too, especially the costumes.
A real nightmare

This kind of work shouldn´t be called a film, because there isn´t any decent sequence, and an amount of imagens should never be called a film, movie or something else. the use of the english language is not enough to make a good script. Fernando Fragata did a realy bad movie with loud music, where the carachters doesn´t have any strenght to make us believe they are real. diogo infante and catarina furtado save something of that amount of images. For those who don´t know Portuguese cinema and has seen this film accedently please look for more and don´t think we just worth this.
4 out of 10 for a movie which added nothing to my happiness.

Sweet Nightmare is a movie which I don't recommend seeing. There is no plot whatsoever and the actors seem to be total idiots on many sequences (like on the TV-Series: Duarte&Companhia). The only thing that is good in this movie is the image of the typical stupid architect, played by Diogo Infante. As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the good interpretations of Diogo Infante and Catarina Furtado, I would rate this movie with an expressive zero.
