Jaime Pressly, Megan Edwards, and Greg Vaughan in Poison Ivy: The New Seduction (1997)

Goofs

Poison Ivy: The New Seduction

Edit

Continuity

Ivy, from the first film in the series, is shown as a small child and is referred to as "Ivy" both in the opening scene and later on in retrospect. The character's real name, however, had never been revealed in the first film; Ivy was a name that Sylvie coined when trying to convince her father to give her a ride home.

Factual errors

Near the end, Mr. Greer tries to make a call, but he can't because a cordless phone has been left off the hook. Fuses were taken out, so the cordless phone shouldn't work.

Revealing mistakes

Modesty pouch on Greg Vaughan during the sex scene in the Gazebo.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Joy is running away from Violet toward the stairs at the end of the movie, we hear Joy scream out "Help!" but her mouth never moves.
When Violet & Joy are lying on her bed talking, Violet says "Then I got smart, I stopped going to school." When she says this, it is obviously a voiceover.

Character error

When Violet is handling the syringe with the needle, she is not wearing latex gloves.
