Alcoholic widow sobers up to sell husband's stolen diamonds after his suicide. Legitimate buyers avoid tainted gems. Selling process forces her to confront past demons while seeking redemption.

Realising a dishonest deal has been found out a diamond merchant commits suicide, leaving the gems in question for his wife. Knowing the business from the time before drink largely took over her life, she decides to sober up and sell them herself. Though they attract much interest, no-one legitimate will touch them.
