When Brigadier General Burke is dressed in her Army Service Uniform (ASU), her ranks are pinned on to her shoulder. In the army, you are only authorized to wear a slip-on rank epaulet, and no ribbons are authorized to be worn on the dress shirt, only on the dress jacket.
In the U.S. Army, Camouflage undershirts are not worn with the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU), only a brown undershirt are authorized. Green is worn with fatigues, but not camouflage.
Ranger patches were not used on U.S. Army berets.
U.S. Marines are shown wearing berets; however, berets have not been worn by the Marines since only a short time in WWII. Either garrison hat, or round hat is authorized.
