An end credit claims that Candy Darling died in 1975; she actually died in 1974.

In a segment taking place just weeks before she shoots Andy Warhol in June 1968, Valerie Solanas and Candy Darling watch the Miss America pageant on TV, an event which is actually held in September.

Valerie Solanas is referred to as being 28 in 1968.In fact, she was born in 1936, making her 32 at the time she shot Andy Warhol.

At the conclusion of the film, it states that Valerie Solanas died in 1989. In fact, she dies in 1988, just a few weeks after she turned 52.

Valerie visits same newsstand as much as six months apart but same issues of magazines are always on display (with, in some cases, several different issues of same title on view concurrently, something that would never happen), only rearranged.

While Valerie is in revolutionary guy's apartment, we hear "Kick Out The Jams" by the MC5 cranking on the stereo. This scene takes place in June 1968. This very well-known MC5 recording, however, was not recorded until October 30 or 31, 1968 (according to the liner notes), and released in 1969.

Hugh Masekela's "Grazing in the Grass" is being played at the party in The Factory. The scene takes place in 1967, but the song was not recorded until March 1968.

There are a couple of shots during the party at The Factory in which the camera crew can be seen reflected in the Mylar balloons.
