Goofs

Danger Zone

Edit

Continuity

After Rick jumps off the train at the end, he swims to the shore. When he gets out of the water, his hat is not wet and is still on his head. His hat would have fallen off and been soaked when Rick hit the water.
During the first action scene, at the mine, a black miner is shot and falls of a walkway, but in the insert shot the man falling is obviously white, only to be black again when he hits the ground.
During the bar fight towards the beginning of the film, there is brief cut behind Rick and you can see Billy Zane's stand in, and is very obvious on the VHS.
At the beginning of the film, when Rick is seen diving to avoid being shot it's not Billy Zane it's obviously a stunt double doing the dive, as his face is visible.

Factual errors

The film is said to be set in an un-named African country but in a bar scene, there are posters displayed of Orlando Pirates, a South African soccer team.

Revealing mistakes

In the action sequence Billy Zane is pointing his gun but no shots are being fired.
In the action sequence a lot of the time Robert Downey Jr, and Billy Zane were shooting their gun's in one direction, even though their targets were somewhere else.
Monsieur Chang shoots his rocket launcher at Jim's Jeep, and before it explodes you can see that there is a dummy in it.
When Rick and Dr. Kim Woods are in the mines, Rick says " Got any phobia do you? but his mouth doesn't move.
