Stephen Baldwin and Pauly Shore in Bio-Dome (1996)

Goofs

Bio-Dome

Edit

Continuity

Near the beginning of the dome rebuilding sequence, several party goers are still sleeping on the ground in the desert. They are never seen again.
At the beginning of the film, when Doyle was hit by the book and flew backwards into the book shelf, the shelf was partially destroyed. When his girlfriend slaps him and he stands up, the shelving unit is intact.
When Bud hits Doyle with the book, the book's logo faces Bud in one shot, and Doyle in the next shot.
When Doyle bends down to kiss his girlfriend at the glass window, his sunglasses are in the collar of his shirt. When he rises, the sunglasses are gone. They reappear in the next scene.
In "the book scene", when Bud is lining up in the hallway, the camera cuts to Doyle standing with the coffee table lined up right next to him, with no room to pass. As Bud hits him, the camera changes to a view of him from behind. The coffee table has moved, and Bud has plenty of room to get past Doyle.

Factual errors

Jen and Monique watch a nature show. The narrator says that sage grouse mate for life. Sage grouse establish harems every season.

Revealing mistakes

The bio-dome is supposed to be airtight, but the roof is made of flimsy plastic that blows in the wind.
When Bud passes gas in the artificial rain generator, no air bubbles come up.
When Doyle makes out with Mimi, he is clearly wearing a wedding band on his left ring finger, even though he's not married.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Bud and Doyle are locked in the closet recounting stories from the past, Bud smacks Doyle on the forehead, but the slapping sound does not match up.

Character error

When Bud and Doyle try and get out the main exit in a Sherman tank, Olivia says that nothing comes in or out, not even air. A large crack under the "airtight" door is letting light in.
