Whoopi Goldberg in The Associate (1996)

Goofs

The Associate

Edit

Continuity

In the coffee shop scene Sally asks about Cutty and later they leave when Aesop Franklin arrives. The camera positions change throughout their discussion. The spoon in Laurel's cup changes places. Behind her the spoon is in the cup and in front of her the spoon is laying on the table.
When accepting the award for business man of the year the award changes from sitting on the platform and in Frank's lap. Also when Laurel is leaving she takes the award with her, but when it cuts back to Frank clapping the award is still in his lap.
In the scene where the police are interrogating Laurel, there is a photo that is leaning up against the ashtray that was not in the previous shot. The next shot shows that photo is gone but in the shot after that, it is moved to a different spot but still leaning against the ashtray.

Factual errors

The output of an HP Laserjet 4 printer is shown emerging face-up, but should be face-down.

Miscellaneous

In the opening shot, a female extra in shades and a cap emerges from the subway station and sticks her tongue out to the camera.
