Could become a cult classic.....
suckling29 January 2002
Lots of fun...easy to identify with...you may laugh at the wrong places, but who cares. A lot of effort and care was put into this movie. Special effects, settings, and make-up all are above B-flick standards. This has the makings of a cult classic....and has the kind of long-lasting appeal that many Ed Wood, Roger Corman, or Troma Brothers movies have had. This is definitely worth seeing, and for those of us who value the off-beat, it is worth owning. Give it a look!

Warning: Spoilers
The blood of a cow saves the future.Nice FX at the conclusion. Locations boring, the film lagged and the actors seemed bored. The sets were bad,the costumes worse.Poor in most aspects except for production value.

Giant spiders and a HOT Redhead! What more could a man want?

Twilight of the Dogs is an entertaining film about life on Earth after a germ warfare accident. Gage Sheridan plays a half human/ half alien but 100% gorgeous redheaded babe trying to save the last of mankind from the plague. This may have been her first acting role, but she was excellent and she made her character heroic, sympathetic and completely believable. Kent Burton's amazing stop motion animation brought giant spiders to life on film. Director John Ellis made the end of the world believable on film and even had a genuine BMP tank captured during Desert Storm. Don't miss this film!

Interesting movie

I finally found this film after reading about it in Science Fiction Age mag back in the mid nineties...I already checked out the other films (Invader, Beyond the rising moon and Metamorphosis) Invader is better as an action film but this is more like a science fiction story. The acting was better than a lot of low budget films and I didn't feel like I was being talked down to. Nice photography and special effects and a really cool real tank! I recommend this to people who like real sci-fi stories and not just things blowing up all the time. I mean, this film does have things blowing up and etc. but that's not what the film is about. It's about the future survivors of a disease and a cult army with an alien woman and a cow and jet pilot to boot. It was hard to find but I wasn't disappointed.
