Brilliant!

This totally slipped under everyone's rodar. I tittaly aggroded with previous reviews, this is superb. Totally mesmerising in width and depth, clearly a monster class in class and comedic interpretation of past civilisations.

In addition the special effects, although on a budget lower than most schools kids get for a day's lunch, the imagination is poor hence a deeply surreal interpretation of all those involved actually manages to blow your mind clear through your neather regions. Sounds unpleasant perhaps, but it's so rare as to completely take you by surprise and leave you feeling deeply and perminantly surprised, you should see the look I can't shift from my Visage.

A weird idea but a great movie.

Space Nuns is a great movie, I would recommend it to anyone who likes short films, comedy, anything really. It is extremely funny and the ending is quite scary. Ursula Glanville is the best actor in the WHOLE movie and Andrew Adeane does a superb job of directing. I wish he could do another. So get it in your head this is a good movie, SO WATCH IT!!!!!

I cannot summarize the greatness of this short.

Quite possibly the best short film of the 20th century, it's a shame so few saw it. This masterpiece 'Space Nuns' brilliantly follows the journey of Kate and her desires to one-day venture to where no Nun has gone before... space. A plot that may seem rather ludicrous is captured perfectly with a fantastic mix of tear-jerking emotion and better, side-splitting emotion, what more could one want.

Adeane shows obvious talent, working wonders behind the camera, the almost entirely unknown cast (Oliver Driver of Shortland St. fame appears) are also great. Kate Bartlett gives a stunning, believable performance as the lead character.

This film is far superior to 'Lieberman in Love', it was in my opinion, appallingly snubbed at the 96 academy awards. Every aspect of this film is delivered with perfection, I can stress no more, no short film has ever entertained, moved or amazed me like Andrew Adeane's 'Space Nuns'. To express my love for this film in 1000 words is impossible.

And all this in 10 minutes.
