When Kristen pesters Morgan to show her how he shoots, Morgan's pistol fires sixteen shots. It only has chambers for six cartridges. For safety, usually only five chambers were loaded.
As Frank Morgan exits the cantina after shooting the Landon brothers, he steps out and tries to put the gun back in holster and he misses! And on the second try, he gets it.
