Luis, a Spanish student,goes to London to get a course in Economics. He lives at a house the neighbour of her aunt, but when she broke up with her husband, Luis goes to live with her.
A young man of twenty years goes from Spain to London in order to study there. At first he lives with his attractive aunt with whom he falls in love.
The "Butterfly Effect" is an example that Chaos theorists use to explain that a very small thing can trigger unforeseen consequences. That is what happens when Luis, a Spanish Economics student, goes to study to London, where he shares a flat with Oswald, the next-door neighbour of his aunt Olivia, who he has never met before. At first Luis and Olivia don't seem to understand each other very well: Luis is shy and serious, while Olivia is very uninhibited and always seems to be happy. But gradually, circumstances will bring them together, and, after Olivia dumps her boyfriend Duncan, who beat her and cheated on her, aunt and nephew realise that they are falling in love...
