Continuity

When Derek and the fake Odette are dancing together during the ball, he puts the necklace over her hair. In the next shot, it is magically under her hair. Neither of them adjusted it, so it should have still been over.
While playing cards, Odette's hand is four aces and a black two. In the next shot, the two is red.
When Odette and William are visiting Derek's land by boat and William exits the boat, his cloak is green. In the next scene, when he is kissing Uberta, his cloak changes to blue. Then it is green again. Although none of the characters change clothing throughout the first scenes in the movie, William's cloak changes color frequently throughout his scenes.
During "This is My Idea", Odette is shown in the tower without freckles. When she turns around to face her father, she has freckles.
When Odette and King William are heading home after she makes Derek's tree house fall Odette has her arm in a cast, a bandage wrapped around her forehead, and a wooden arm splint. In the next scene Odette is riding away from Derek's castle without her cast, bandage, and splint. Both of Odette's hands are holding her horse's reins.

Revealing mistakes

During the song "No More Mr. Nice Guy", at 52:33, if you look at the top of the screen, you will see the top of the animation table accidentally revealed by the camera's movement.
The bows and arrows used by Derek and his friend have all been under water for considerable amounts of time, yet they all work perfectly.
Throughout the whole movie, whenever we see a large crowd - the public in the opening scene with baby Odette, the audience in the ball when Prince Derek proposes, the crowd at the harbor when teen princess Odette uses the sling shot on Derek and so on - the characters in the background are completely still, as a sign that the only animated characters in the film are the ones in the front.

Anachronisms

While Jean Bob speaks in a French accent, Derek, Odette, and Speed all spoke in American accents, sharply contrasting with the implied English setting and accents spoken by most of the characters in the film.
All of Queen Uberta's guards are shown wearing green tailcoats, yet they didn't exist until the late 1780's.

Plot holes

The fifth movie states that a powerful force named The Forbidden Arts was planning to destroy the swan princess so he can be unstoppable. If that's the case, why did he hire Rothbart to do the work?
Odette's mother is strangely never seen or even mentioned, even though she clearly existed at the film's start. All it says at the beginning of the film is that a daughter was born, and nothing is ever said about the queen or what happened to her.

Character error

It is stated several times that Speed is a turtle. Actually, he's a tortoise, he has feet, not flippers. In addition, most tortoises can't swim, certainly not as well as Speed does.
