Goofs

When Frank arrives home for his "special evening," there's an old portrait hanging next to the front door. A few minutes later when Jane leaves, it's a similar, but different, portrait. The use of items being substituted, moved, and placed incongruously is one of the trademark touches used by the Zucker, Abrahams, Zucker team in all their comedies. It is intentionally done, not a goof.

At the beginning, a bench is seen at the end of the stairs. When the prams roll down the stairs and ram into the bench, the bench has moved closer to the stairs and is now bigger.

When Frank receives his ticket at the sperm bank from the receptionist, it rotates 180 degrees in his hand between shots.

When Frank is disguised as Phil Donahue, he jumps on the end of the stairs, but in the next shot, he's on the side of the stairs.

When Rocco grabs the envelope from Frank the flap opens and closes from shot to shot.

A road sign in the Geriatric Park parody is misspelled "Seisure World". It should be spelled "seizure".

When Frank's retirement mural is unveiled by the team, a dedication can be seen to "Elliot Ness". The name should be spelled Eliot Ness.

The Academy Award nominees are not announced in alphabetical order as it usually is. This is a comedic depiction of the ceremony, the filmmakers can do whatever they want.

There is no way Rocco could be launched through the bottom of a helicopter and be in one piece. This is obviously meant as a joke.

When the prams roll down the stairs, two of the prams jettison their baby dummies before they hit the bench.
