When the monkey decides to run away from the gypsy, he is wearing a black diaper. In the following outdoor shots, the diaper is missing.
Late in the film, Eva's little brother runs out of a bedroom to get their mother. He is barefoot, but he runs back in wearing shoes.
During the dinner scene Eva has corn on the cob on her plate that has clearly been completely eaten. After her friend Katie calls, the corn on her plate is back to being uneaten.
Eva's father has just a regular gun-holster such as a slim-bodied automatic pistol would slip into, yet the bulky revolver that the monkey is holding has a super-wide cylinder that could never fit into the holster.
When Tom arrests Azro, he sees that his wife Amy's ring is in the bag of jewelry Azro has on him. He immediately takes the ring back to her. In reality, the Police Department would have had to temporarily hold it as evidence.
The movie is mostly set in Los Angeles, California. Near the end of the film when the police car enters the park while searching for Eva up until Tom finds Azro, the lights on the front of the squad car are turned on and missing a steady red light. In California, according to the vehicle code, all emergency and law enforcement vehicles are required to have a steady red light facing forward.
Eva uses plastic-handled scissors to cut the fried chicken, much of which is obviously hard and crunchy, and so those flimsy-handled (the blades' metal handle-portions have just short stumpy tabs on the ends that only protrude a small distance into the plastic handles instead of extending all the way into and around the finger-loops, and so this type of scissors is notorious for the handles' breaking at this spot) scissors would never have been able to hack off a large/thick piece of the chicken, especially with the awkward clumsy manner in which the small-handed Eva is operating the scissors.
Eva tries to enter her father's house and says, "Oh, no! It's locked," but her mouth movements do not match the words.
When Dodger escapes from Azro's trailer near the park to head back to Eva's, the street signs near the park are white and by the design, it shows that he and Azro are in Beverly Hills, (which is where the park scenes were filmed). With Eva being shown to live in the Warwick building in Los Angeles, the park being in Beverly Hills is about 5 miles away, it would take several hours to travel by foot from the park to the Warwick building. The nearest park to where Eva resides would be Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles.
When Eva is at the grocery store, the cashier handling her order asks her "cash, check, or credit card?" No kid that age would be able to have a credit card or checkbook, so the question is unnecessary.
Eva presumably lives in the Warwick building in Los Angeles as the name Warwick is showing above the entrance to the building when she saying goodbye to her mom before going to her dad's house. When Katie's mom gets onto the 405 freeway, she gets on from Sunset Boulevard. The Warwick is on Sycamore Avenue which would be closer to Wilshire Boulevard, so it doesn't quite make sense for her to go all the way to Sunset Blvd, which is a longer route when she could've just got onto the 405 from Wilshire Blvd or Santa Monica Boulevard.
