With his right hand, Jason retrieves the flowers he bought for Lyric from the truck and hides them behind his back. When he hands them to her, he pulls them from under his left arm.

In the climax when Joshua holds Lyric hostage, the two brothers get into a heated argument that Jason points his gun to Joshua. The way Jason holds his gun changes between shots.

In the climax when Joshua points his gun at Lyric's neck, the blood splat appears on the door behind Lyric's back, when it should appear after Joshua accidentally shoots her on the shoulder.

When Lyric comes to the electronic shop where Jason works at after they briefly argued in the carnival, Lyric is clearly soaked from the rain outside due to only uses newspaper to cover her head instead of umbrella. Yet, when she and Jason starts kissing followed by having sex after, she is already dry like new.

When Jason picks up the rose bouquet from his car to give it to Lyric, her arms are crossed. In the next shot, when she approaches before picking up one rose, her hands are on her pants pockets.

In the climax, when shooting Lyric on the shoulder while having a heated argument with his brother, Jason, Joshua claims it as an accident, when there is absolutely nothing startles him that makes his finger slips then accidentally pulls the trigger.

The bank and the bank parking lot during the robbery scene are not in the same location; the parking lot is located in the Eleanor Tinsley Park complex off Allen Parkway west of Downtown Houston. The Bank is located inside Loop 610 in the Heights between T.C. Jester and Airline Drive, about 5 miles from downtown.
