Pom Poko (1994)

Goofs

Pom Poko

Edit

Continuity

When the transformation masters do their speech, Seizaemon is on the right hand side of the temple porch. A few seconds later, he's on the left hand side.
In a high-angle shot of the tanuki all standing on the excavator, the arm has the letters "GBL" written on it. In a long shot four seconds later, the excavator has "KKL" written on its arm.
When he arrives back at Manpuku Temple with Shokichi and the other volunteers, Gonta's crow's feet are gone.

Factual errors

The English-dubbed version incorrectly refers to the tanuki as "raccoons". Tanuki are actually "raccoon dogs" - they are in the canid branch of mammals.
In the English dub, the Wonderland President offers Ryutaro dollars instead of yen, which is the proper currency.
