The opening scene where there is a wide shot of the dog walking is the same shot used at the end where the dog has the man's foot in his mouth. You can even see the foot in the dog's mouth in the beginning sequence.

Trickster introduces himself simply as "Trickster," but he's credited as "The Trickster."

After the two detectives questioned Michael Brower at his home, they leave for their car, where part of the filming crew is visible, reflected in the back window of said car.

Michael's area code is 717 which is located in Eastern Pennsylvania. However if you look closely at the letters that he sorts through and finds the Brainscan package, the state that he lives in is actually New Jersey.

According to Michael's address, he lives in New Jersey but when he discovers the severed foot in his freezer, one of the products shown is a TV dinner with text on it that reads "Savarin MicroToast" and "Poulet Frit" in English and French, marking it as an item sold exclusively in Canada. This is a consequence of the movie being filmed in Montreal.

Why would the other students want to join Michael's horror club if they consider him to be frightening and strange?

Destroying the footprints would leave Michael's DNA at the scene.

In a mid-credits scene, Trickster says that we've forgotten something and shows the German Shepherd carrying the severed foot back to Michael's house. But the murder where the foot was severed was only in the game and time reset itself when the game was over, thus the victim never died or lost his foot.
