When Aiden goes into the restroom after Emma, his handcuffs are hooked on his belt. When he leaves the handcuffs are gone.

Emma's doctor dating her while she is still a patient of his, is a clear cut violation of professional ethics. A real doctor could get into serious trouble.

A real detective would be in deep trouble if he had an affair with a witness, especially before the case went to trial, as it could result in a mistrial.

Though it's been said that Madeleine Stowe learned to play the violin for her role, her fingering and bowing don't match the music, and she is clearly not actually playing.

Emma Brody's address is listed as being on "West Damen". In Chicago, Damen runs north/south not east/west.

Emma's dog, Ralph, is a trained guide dog. These animals are trained to focus on assisting their owners, specifically to ignore distractions in their environment and to obey their masters instantly. Yet Ralph barks when Emma walks down the stairs, he pulls away from her in the car park to investigate something and he chases the man ignoring Emma's calls to come back. These behaviours are totally out of character for a guide dog.

Emma grabs a gun from the police car and fires off shots at her attacker. It is extremely unlikely that she has ever handled a gun before due to her blindness. Yet she handles the gun expertly, even managing to know that there is a safety catch and how to deactivate it.
