Andrew McCarthy, Jonathan Silverman, and Terry Kiser in Weekend at Bernie's II (1993)

Goofs

Weekend at Bernie's II

Edit

Continuity

For being set just days after the events of the first film, Larry's hair is noticeably longer.
At about 00:18:30-00:18:40 (during the resurrection ritual) the position of Bernie's head changes between shots.
Horse Carriage driving on wrong side of the street.
In the first film, Larry takes Bernie's Rolex and wears it in the film. However, in this film, when they leave the morgue, he gets Bernie's Rolex in his personal possessions, and acts as if he didn't have it before. Now, it is possible that Bernie had more than one Rolex, but they wouldn't be in his items at the morgue. They would be at his home.

Miscellaneous

The Walkman that Richard, Claudia, and Larry put on Bernie while looking for the treasure would not work underwater.
When the voodoo lady puts the spell on Richard to cure him the Voodoo Doctor states that he would need the blood of a virgin which Larry automatically volunteers but if anyone remembers in Part 1 when Bernie got washed up on the beach, Richard went back to the house to tell Larry, but he was inside one of the rooms assumely being intimate with someone because he told Richard to come back in 30 seconds so he should have been no good for the cure because he wasn't a virgin assumely..

Crew or equipment visible

When Charles and Henry are released from jail and walk across the street, a crew member with a walkie-talkie can be seen behind them, telling people not to walk into the shot. Some people even stop to watch the filming.
When the police car drives off after the investigator is arrested after the submarine incident you can see a hand holding a black screen reflected in the car.

Plot holes

It's stated right before Richard jumps in the pool, he hasn't swum in a while, so he almost drowns. However in the previous movie which is set a few days before this movie, Richard is swimming fine in the ocean after the boat ran out of fuel.

Character error

Larry should not have needed to drag Bernie's body to access the safe-deposit box; he has legal documentation identifying himself as the key's custodian.
When the pigeon is placed on Bernie's arm, the elbow visibly moves up with no help.
