Jim Wynorski said he was so impressed with Jennifer Love Hewitt when he directed her in Munchie (1992) that he wrote this film for her.
Antonia Dorian's first role. She was appearing in Becky LeBeau's nude SoftBodies videos when director Jim Wynorski, who had directed LeBeau in some of his films, saw Dorian's videos and pictures and asked to meet with her. She told him she wanted to act, and he gave her a small part in this film.
There is an in joke in the film, at around 56m agent Noah Hollander looks at an artists impression of Nick Frost and says "He could be that actor guy from WKRP" Howard Hesseman who plays Nick was in WKRP.
