The Joker calls Andrea the "spawn of her father's loins"

Andrea and Bruce kiss passionately in his bedroom. It is implied that they spent the night together as the next morning Andrea is still at Wayne mansion and is sitting outside of Bruce's room wearing different clothes (Bruce's shirt) than the night before.

The Phantasm discovers a grinning corpse of a criminal with a time bomb attached to its chest, which later explodes.

Batman ambushes a group of thugs by crashing trough a window.

The Joker tries to kill Andrea by having her get sucked into a giant fan, Batman is able to save her by driving his motorcycle into it.

At one point, the Joker has Andrea pinned down by the wrists, on her back, intimately menacing her. She escapes by kneeing him hard in the groin.

The movie touches upon with Bruce Wayne's psychological issues.

The movie implies corrupted elected officials, and features a fictional mob gang.

The Phantasm, who appears out of nowhere in a dark misty setting, is a ghastly figure who can scare older kids and teens as well. His voice is frightening and unearthly. He murders a couple of characters in startling ways.

For an animated family film it is fairly dark and at times violent.
