When Gloria is on Jeopardy she answers the first question wrong and is in the negative. She answers another question worth a hundred and that brings her to "0" then she answers another 100 dollar question but her score already shows she has 1500.

When Gloria is on Jeopardy! (1984), the man to the left of her has $100, but after she answers the daily double he has $2800. he did not have a chance to ring in since she answered all the questions up until the daily double.

While Billy confronts Sidney about being hustled out of $1700, he stuffs his hat into his jacket pocket. In the very next shot, when Sidney is responding to his accusation, Billy is putting his hat into his pocket again.

When Gloria is on Jeopardy, at one point her score changes from 5100 to 8300 and back again between shots.

On jeopardy when Leonard chooses a subject Gloria has $5100, in the next shot she has $8300 then in the next shot it says $5100 again.

Before the second hustle game in Watts, Sidney declares the game to be "make it take it", meaning a team retains possession of the ball after scoring a basket. However, after Billy makes the first shot of the game, their opponents (Robert and Zeke) take possession of the ball.

Sidney and Billy are partners so it is most likely they split winnings and losses 50/50. Therefore the $1700 loss should have been $850 loss to each yet Billy says he lost the entire $1700 himself. It should be a $850 loss to each individually.

While playing "Double Jeopardy," Gloria interrupts Alex to answer a question about Popes. The rules of the game do not permit a contestant to respond until the answer is read aloud in its entirety.

However, this is only a method the filmmakers used to show how Gloria owns the game.

Even though there is no "getting on the lot" on Jeopardy as portrayed to get on the show, this is only a method the filmmakers used to simplify the story, furthermore this is obviously not a movie about the entry process on the show Jeopardy.

Billy tells Gloria that he spent $5.16 of the $62. Gloria then says that they have $58.84 left. Even though they only have $56.84 left, she miscalculated because she was impaired at the time and it has been shown she is a borderline alcoholic.

Billy and Sidney were able to sneak backstage of Jeopardy to see Gloria with Robert's help because he was already able to get her "on the lot".

Sydney's definition of "hearing" Jimi Hendrix, is not the standard textbook definition of "hearing," The definition of "hearing" he is referring to is the African American male slang terminology that is used in southern California.

When Billy got home after the 2-on-2 tournament, right before he told Gloria he lost his half of the prize money, Gloria lights the candles on the table and walks over to the light switch and turns the lights off. When she walked over to the light switch it was in the down/off position and you can plainly see that she only touched the switch, she didn't flip it up or down so the lights couldn't have been turned off by her.

When Tony Stucci was throwing Billy out of their van and telling him he has one more week to pay back to money, his mouth doesn't move.

After Gloria won the prize money from Jeopardy she could've have used it to pay off their debt to the Stucci brothers.

Raymond wouldn't be cheering for Billy and Sydney during the tournament and when Billy and Sydney were played against Duck Johnson and Eddie 'The King' Faroo because Billy and Sydney hustled him earlier in the film.

When the police officer is investigating the robbery and vandalism at Sidney's home, he touches several items with his fingers without using plastic latex gloves. This is against police procedure.

When playing against Raymond, Sydney reminds Billy that they can win $500 but when Raymond sold his gun he was only able to sell it for $250, therefore Billy and Sydney would only win $250, not $500.

Sidney claims he presented Billy with an option to play Eddie The King Duck Johnson in a basketball game but in fact Sidney reminded Billy that he owed him a favor therefore Billy is obligated to return the favor to Sidney.
