Did You Know?
Trivia | Jon Lovitz was forced to quit Saturday Night Live (1975) to work on this film. Originally the film was to be shot during the summer break between seasons, but when shooting overlapped for two weeks, Lorne Michaels told Lovitz he couldn't miss a single week on SNL, so he had to make a choice. Convinced that the film was going to be a box office hit, Lovitz stayed on until the production wrapped. Lovitz attributed the film's abysmal box office performance to the film being edited to be more family friendly. See more » |
Goofs | When Dick and Marge are out of control on the highway, the man driving the car in far shots is very obviously not Jeffrey Jones. See more » |

Quotes |
Emperor Todd Spengo:
On a scale of one-to-ten, in terms of... universe-dominating greatness, where would you place, say... oh, me? General Afir: A ten sire, most definitely. Emperor Todd Spengo: [musing] A ten? Hmmm... [becoming more annoyed] Emperor Todd Spengo: Well yes, of course a Ten. What else would you think? A six? See more » |
