Dona Speir and Roberta Vasquez in Hard Hunted (1992)

Goofs

Hard Hunted

Edit

Continuity

Raven's gyrocopter always has 4 rockets on it when it's shown flying, even after several of them are shown being launched in close-up.
Early in the film when Cole (Buzzy Kerbox) is windsurfing towards the yacht, he is clearly arriving during the day. The moment he arrives it is night time. Post production forgot to darken the scene to substitute day for night.
Kane holds the jade Buddha in his right hand after a henchman gives it to him aboard the houseboat. He then picks up a wine glass with his right hand and the Buddha is nowhere to be seen. The camera angle changes and the Buddha is suddenly back in his right hand again.
Early in the gyrocopter attack on Donna and Nicole's campsite, the gyrocopter banks sharply towards the camera, but it's suddenly flying straight and level when the camera angle changes.
During the gyrocopter attack, Donna and Nicole's tent is blown up twice with different rockets.

Factual errors

The Beech Starship airplane flight footage is accompanied by propeller noise early in the movie and by jet noise later in the film. Neither is appropriate for this aircraft; it makes an extremely distinctive and unusual high-pitched buzzing whine due to its pusher prop configuration.

Revealing mistakes

Edy's song is supposedly being broadcast live on KSXY Radio, but there are no microphones visible anywhere during her performance.
Obvious dummy when the henchman is thrown from the airplane.
Engine and propeller noise is remarkably absent when Donna and the 2 henchmen talk to Kane aboard the airplane. Additionally, the interior doesn't become particularly windy or loud after the henchman opens the door; this should result in violent wind and deafening noise. It's obvious that the sequence was shot on the ground and the sound effects added in post-production.
Raven fires 5 rockets even though his gyrocopter only holds 4.
A woman demonstrates some competence with a semiautomatic firearm by manually cycling its action, then breaking it down. She then holds a hostile man at bay by quickly reassembling and loading it, but she holds the weapon with her elbows dropped, so the pistol's in front of her face, a foot away at most. Someone competent enough to manipulate the weapon to that extent must surely realize that if she pulls the trigger in this condition, she'll likely lose her front teeth.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

During Edy's performance at the club, she is accompanied by electronic synth bass and a drum track. However, her backing band includes an electric bass player rather than a keyboardist, and there is no drummer seen, nor any speakers that could broadcast a drum machine or taped drum track.

Crew or equipment visible

A boom mic pops in and out on the left side of the frame in the scene where Donna wakes up on Laysan Island (1:25:20).

Errors in geography

Although the setting is supposed to be Hawaii, desert scenery is consistently visible beyond Kane's houseboat throughout the movie.
It's obvious from the desert scenery that the airplane that transports Lucas to Molokai is not actually landing in Hawaii. Additionally, the plane lands on Runway 33, but there is no such runway at the actual Molokai Airport.
