Joe Pesci and Todd Monteiro in The Super (1991)

Goofs

The Super

Edit

Continuity

When Louie Kritski first enters his apartment, he jiggles a sink faucet, shortly after which water explodes out from the drain. However, immediately after the second explosion, a close-up shows the water level is visibly higher than it was before.
When Louie first enters his slum apartment 5C there is a shiny metal light fixture hanging up in the area where the ceiling is leaking onto a puddle on the floor. He closes the front door, walks into the bathroom and the light fixture is still there. But in the next shot the fixture is now inexplicably lying on the floor in the water puddle. This is never explained.
When Louie shows up at his apartment building on the first night of his house arrest, he parks his red corvette in the street. The corvette is seen from the alley point-of-view to the left of a fence that covers half of the alley entrance (the corvette is visible through the non-fenced side of this alley on the left). That same night the corvette is stripped of all usable parts, including the wheels and left up on blocks. But days later when Louie follows Marlon into the alley toward the basketball courts, the corvette has inexplicably moved to where it is now seen BEHIND the aforementioned fence, i.e. twenty feet to the right from it's original position. It should still be visible through the fence opening on the left, not THROUGH the fenced side on the right.

Factual errors

When Kritski find his car stripped down, he touches it and the alarm sounds off. Since the thieves took the battery the alarm could not function.

Miscellaneous

When Heather tries to flee Louie's slum apartment during his "conjugal visit", he tries to stop her by singing the Johnny Mathis version of" Misty". The first lyrics in this song go, "Look at me, I'm helpless as a kitten up a tree". But the Closed Captioning in this movie depict Louie's sung words as "Look at me I have..."

Boom mic visible

Reflected in the window of Big Lou's car after telling his son about leaving to Tahiti.
