Texas state trooper checks Ray's New Mexico plates on his radio. Later on the scene from Texas Highway 290, Ray's Ford STW is seen with white base 2-series California plates. And before the final scene, the same Ford has some other plain white plates.
When sheriff is tailing two detectives in the rear view the steering is on the passenger side. When he passes its on the left Americanized side. They are also shown driving on the wrong side of the road. The image has been flipped in a couple shots for some reason.
When Ray and Fanatasia are talking to the Law Enforcement Office in the convenience store, the Officer has a patch on his shoulder with, "Police". Then when he is following them he is driving a Texas State DPS car. The Texas State Troopers' patch does not have "Police", on it. The Trooper's badge is also wrong. The basic design is correct, but all of the details are wrong or missing.
