Kristy Swanson, William Ragsdale, and Meshach Taylor in Mannequin: On the Move (1991)

Goofs

Mannequin: On the Move

Edit

Continuity

When Jessie & Jason enter the nightclub, several of the people that the bouncer had turned away at the door are already inside the club.
In her close-ups, Kristy Swanson's makeup often changes in the same scene, from frame to frame, such as when she is on the bed talking to Jason or in the bathroom right after she has only applied lipstick; her eye makeup has completely changed, with suddenly unflattering darkened and much thicker eyebrows.

Factual errors

When Meshach Taylor impersonates a Marine he is wearing the uniform of a Marine Gunnery Sergeant ("Gunny") but he identifies himself to the policeman as a Staff Sergeant, one rank lower than a Gunny.

Revealing mistakes

In the scene where count spretzals three bumbling bodyguards are walking thru the mall looking for the peasant girl after being dropped off by the trash truck they are all wearing black jeans with gold jackets yet when they finally find the peasant girl in the back dressing room with Jason they are all wearing biker shorts and tank tops..

Miscellaneous

I think any real Philadelphian would laugh hard at how Jason is eating his cheesesteak in the scene when he and Jesse are walking downtown he's literally pinching pieces of it out of the wrapper like he's eating cotton candy as opposed to eating an actual cheesesteak..
In the scene when Jason is making breakfast for Jessie he throws three hard eggs up into the air then he catches them one by one in the strainer in actuality that's impossible if you throw any object or objects into the air they will all fall down together not one after the other seconds apart how Jason caught them..
In the scene after Jason gets arrested and Hollywood goes to spring him from jail for his cover up story to the officer Hollywood states that jason is AWOL and is to be court martialed and would be digging Latreens for years yet Hollywood stated earlier to Jason he was once a Marine the Latreen is slang in the Army for Bathroom Marines and Sailors say The Head Hollywood should have known this having claimed to been a Marine..

Crew or equipment visible

In the beginning, when Jason is looking for parking as he makes the U-turn to park, you can see the street blocked off and the people watching the scene being filmed.

Character error

The first time the mannequin close-up is shown, its eyes are brown but Kristy Swanson has blue eyes in her Jessie close-ups.
Hollywood Montrose acts puzzled and like Jason is completely crazy, when the latter is about to tell him that his girlfriend is a mannequin come to life. But this isn't Hollywood's first rodeo, considering that his character was already in the first mannequin film, where he was complicit to Kim Catrall's character being a mannequin come to life.
