A hilarious Hong Kong Version of "The Fathers'"
Captain_Couth10 July 2005
Daddy, Father and Papa (1991) was a Hong Kong remake of Les Compares. Bin-Bin stars as a boy who's money mad father ignores him and his mother all the time (Teresa Mo). When his birthday comes and goes without his father even acknowledging it depresses him even further. One day whilst visiting his egg head friend (Gabriel Wong) he gets kidnapped by two dumb brothers (Tommy Wong is one of the two). The parents receive the ransom note and the father balks at paying it. The mother becomes so desperate to save her son that she looks up a couple pf her ex-boyfriends for help. Sammo Hung and Raymond Wong co-star as Teresa Mo's ex-boyfriends who help her find her son when he tells them that they're the boy's real father. Can Sammo and Raymond find the boy before it's too late?

A very funny movie that's highly entertaining. I have to strongly recommended this movie! Hong Kong loved Francis Vebber films because they remade The Three Fugitives and Partners as well.
