Gene Hackman and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio in Class Action (1991)

Goofs

Class Action

Edit

Continuity

When Maggie drives to the countryside to first meet Dr. Pavel, her Alfa Romeo Spider has a front license plate (asymmetrically applied as is customary with Alfas). Later when she drives through San Francisco, the car has no front license plate.
Maggie's mother falls down the stairs. The position of her purse changes between shots.
The purse on the steps is just below a landing. But when Maggie rushes down the steps to her mother, she passes the purse without crossing a landing.

Plot holes

After being deluged with former test engineer Pavel's lifetime work files while at the automaker, Jed Ward asks colleagues to find "Pavel, the bunny man," so they can speak with him. If they had not yet spoken with Pavel, Jed would not know to describe him as "the bunny man."

Character error

There is a scene between Gene Hackman and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio in the kitchen, and she says to Gene, "I forget......How many tablespoons are in a teaspoon?" She should have said, "How many teaspoons are in a tablespoon."
