Jean-Claude Van Damme in Lionheart (1990)

Goofs

Lionheart

Edit

Continuity

During the fight in the pool, Lyon's lion tattoo is not on his chest.
During the last fight of the movie, Attila punches Lyon in the ribs several times, re-aggravating his broken rib and causing him to bleed through his stitches. Shortly thereafter, the bloodstain is gone from Lyon's shirt and never returns.
Before and during the final fight scene, Cynthia is wearing a dress with black nylons on her legs. After the fight scene, when she is asked to be removed from her limo, her legs are bare.
During the fight in the pool, Lionheart gets a cut on his right cheek. As he wins the fight and begins to walk up and out of the pool, before the scene fades out we can see that the cut is gone, and his cheek is fine.
During the final fight scene, the position of the white lines on the floor changes. This is especially evident at the beginning of the fight.

Factual errors

A.W.O.L. actually stands for Absent Without Official Leave. **Actually, it doesn't. According to multiple online sources, and one retired military officer, it is an acronym for "Absent WithOut Leave."**

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Right before Lyon's big fight with Attila, he tells Joshua that he took everything out of the bank and put a bet on himself. Then, during the fight, Joshua tells Lyon that all the money is on Attila. Most likely, they each made separate bets; Lyon on himself with his money, and Joshua on Attila with his own money.

Errors in geography

When Lyon and Joshua are walking in New York City there is seen a sign for Carl's Jr., a western burger chain with no locations on the east coast.
