When Rick & Marianne are escaping across the top of the hotel room it is only minutes after her 'early' breakfast was delivered @ ten to seven. As they crawl across the framework on th hotel roof a clock in the background is showing around 07:30. When Rick falls and clambers back up, less than a minute later the clock is showing nearer 08:00

When they are running from the police (after trying to get his black book back from the hairdresser), he hotwires a motorcycle to get the ignition on and start it. A few minutes later (after dodging the police), he appears to be turning on the ignition switch (key needed) before re-starting the motorcycle.

Throughout the movie, Rick keeps changing boots even though he has no luggage.

In the plane vs helicopter chase, the back window of the helicopter goes from clear to red.

At the ranch after Rick has the bullets removed, he hops down from the table and pulls up his pants. After a brief dialogue, he hops away quickly while pulling up his pants... again!

"Witness Protection" (or WitSec) is run by the US Marshals, not the FBI.

Rick and Marianne ride their stolen motorcycle through the China Town district of Racine Wisconsin. There is no China Town in Racine.

A shotgun 'blows out' the rear glass window of the E30 BMW, sending glass throughout the cars interior. But the E30 is a convertible and the rear window is thin plastic and not glass.

In all the cars with blue Michigan license plates, all have a plate in front and back. However, Michigan has only one plate for the back.

"Witness Protection" (or WitSec) is run by the US Marshalls, not the FBI.

Liberal use of stuntmen and women with faces visible, clearly not the main actors. In fight scenes, car chases, motorcycle riding, running from tigers, falling down cliffs, and so on.

When the bike is blown up by gunfire, the wire pulling it over in the explosion is visible.

In the first car chase scene, all of the roads are almost completely wet--on a perfectly fine, clear, hot day.

At the birthday party where Sorenson is looking in through the window at Diggs in the meeting, we see what is supposed to be Sorenson's reflection in the window as he looks in. However, the camera is moving as Diggs gets up and the "reflection" doesn't change position, meaning this was a shot of Sorenson that is dissolved over it.

The black Corvette in the opening credits is a 1980-1981 model (you can tell by the crossed flags on the nose and the shape of the bumper), but the car that pulls into the prison parking lot is a 1979 model.

The BMW is a convertible E30 325i. It is shown as having a damaged trunk lid that won't close and in the film, the roof is sometimes up and sometimes down. The roof cannot be raised or lowered unless the trunk lid is completely closed partly due to interference to the roof and because the electronics are disabled until it is.

At least one of the cockatoos is a stuffed bird, because it does not adjust for balance when the rope swings.

During the scene where the police seize the car the lead officer's lines have been looped. First he asks for the car to be towed away, then he assigns two officers to cover the stores, this is then repeated although a slight attempt has been made to cover it up.

A "J" edit is used to mostly hide a dialog change when Joe says the line, "Relax. I'm doing everything I can do." The video cut takes place as he's sitting down and turning towards the camera and it's obvious he's not saying what we hear. There's also a slight, but noticeable, audio change when the dialog starts matching the video.

Multiple lines of dialogue are dubbed. For instance in the hair salon. Also, in every instance of 'God damn', the letter G has been made silent.

Rick and Marianne take a ferry boat clearly labeled "DETROIT-RACINE FERRY." Detroit is on the east side of Michigan. Racine Wisconsin is across Lake Michigan on the west side of Michigan. Such a ferry would have to take a 2-3 day voyage around the entirety of Michigan.

There are scenes in which mountains can be seen in the distance. There are no mountains or even big hills in Detroit.

During the police chase in Detroit, as Rick takes the wheel from Marianne, the Harbour Centre Tower is clearly visible through the windshield. This and other landmarks expose the true location as downtown Vancouver in British Columbia.

Rick Jarmin and Marianne Graves are visiting Lou and Molly Baird's house. Just after Albert Diggs and Eugene Sorenson show up, all characters begin to head through the kitchen towards the Bairds' basement. Molly replies, "It's designed as a bomb shelter. No one can get in here." Then, before she is off camera, Molly shares an expletive showing she must have made some mistake in the scene that the editors decided to keep.

Rick hears "Bird On a Wire: on Marianne's car radio and says that it's on the 60's station. "Bird On a Wire" wasn't released by Leonard Cohen until 1979, but the version playing on the radio was the newly-released 1990 version by The Neville Brothers.

When climbing out of the hotel, Rick asks when she started wearing underpants. She's actually wearing a bodysuit she had wrapped the robe over.
