Shown only at the Wonders of Life exhibition at Disney's EPCOT Center in Florida.
On January 9, 1987, at a final cost of $32 million, almost twice the cost of building the entire park in 1955, Disneyland debuted the Original Star Tours. This technology was then used to produce Body Wars, which was seen in Walt Disney World's EPCOT Center on 10/19/89. Star Tours didn't find it's way to Walt Disney World until December 15, 1989. So if you've only visited Walt Disney World you may consider Body Wars the first attraction to use the Flight Simulator, but it was in place with Disney Technology nearly 2 years prior.
Elisabeth Shue plays the role of Dr. Cynthia Lair. Elisabeth is best known for her role as Jennifer Parker in the "Back to the Future" II and III movies, and also starred as "Chris" in "Adventures in Babysitting".
A majority of the ride experience resides within the bloodstream, and the Flight Simulator is moving in a motion to mimic a beating Heart. It was an incredible amount of motion compared to a tradition flight simulation experience, like that of Star Tours. Disney Imagineers were attempting to use the Technology to the fullest. "Star Tours: The Adventures Continue" added more Axis of movement, a randomization of scenes, and D3D additions.
