Lt. Lamont is killed by Kalgan, and then later appears working at a computer terminal.
When Lea Jansen tricks the guard into removing his jumpsuit, she presses a high heeled boot against his stomach. When she escapes and is shown running up a ladder a few seconds later, the high-heeled boots have changed into stylish flat boots that clearly could not have come from the guard.
At least one time on the bridge, early on in the film, the "computer" monitor shows footage from later in the film, and it's a fight scene, before there have even been any fights.
When Kalgan is torturing Lea Jansen, he says that he wants her father's countermeasures. But when she is rescued and finds out MacPhearson is working for Kalgan, Capt. Devers is worried because MacPhearson knows all of the ship's countermeasures. If MacPhearson knows the countermeasures, then Kalgan does too, so there is no reason to bring it up while he is torturing Lea.
When Steve Godel (?) is thrown off the railings by Kalgan and hits the ground, his glasses fall off. There's a cut to Kalgan laughing, and in the very next cut, with the papers falling on him, his glasses are back on.
After the attack by pirates and the sabotage, it is determined that the ship needs to "slow down" for repairs by cutting power to the engines by 2/3. This makes no sense because in space there is no resistance pushing back against the ship, therefore there would be no need to keep the engines running full power, all the time. Once the ship reaches its maximum speed via the engines, they should have shut them down and let the ship's own inertia travel through space. The engines would only be used for course corrections, possible reentry burns or regaining speed for any number of reasons.
The actress that plays Lea has her name spelled "Cissy Cameron" in the opening credits and "Cisse Cameron" in the closing credits.
In interior shots of the spaceship "Southern Sun", large, hinged, factory-type windows can be clearly seen (not to mention the fact that sunlight is clearly coming through them in several scenes) and much of the Southern Sun is made of brick and mortar.
Just before colliding with Kalgan's Enforcer car, Ryder lets out a scream and jumps from his own car. After the scream, the shot lingers on him a few seconds too long, so that the viewer can see Reb Brown compose himself in preparation for the stunt.
During the conference room fight, the set walls shift and wobble when characters bump into them.
At 22 minutes in, Kalgan emerges from the shadows to confront the engineer laughing. His mouth is not moving and when he laughs a second time, he simply smiles.
