During the meeting with the lawyers about the divorce, Mrs. Farmer mentions that July is seven months away, meaning it is December. Yet, in the next exterior shot we see the grass is green and the leaves are still on the trees.
When Michael Sinclair first arrives at the Farmer house ( when Andy is planning his ambush for the mailman ), his car, A Ford LTD Crown Victoria is seen to have wing windows on the front doors. later, when he drives off after getting the manuscript from Andy, the car doors no longer have the wing windows on them.
In the final scene, as Elizabeth approaches then takes a seat on the bleachers, the crowd changes (amount and positions) between shots.
Andy's wet clothes cause two continuity errors. First, when he falls in the water as the boat leaves the dock at the picnic, he is fully dry when seen shortly after fishing in the boat. Second, on the way home from the picnic he is sopping wet as they stop at the kennel, but fully dry as they arrive home with the Irish setter.
As Elizabeth strolls along the shoreline waiting for Andy, we see a sweeping shot of the lake behind her. In the next cut, Andy is swimming to shore in an area of the lake that was clear of swimmers.
During the softball game, at the end of the inning, the scorekeepers hang a 0 on the visitors box score while there's already a 0 hanging on the home team's box below, which would never happen.
The 1955 MG TF1500 that Andy drives does not show reverse lights. This option was not standard equipment, but would have been required for the car to pass state inspection.
In an earlier scene, the ducks that Andy and Elizabeth 'own' are a mating pair (duck and drake). Later on, Andy mistakenly refers to the ducks as 'fellas'.
During the inning change-out, the catcher calls for 3rd base, but throws to 2nd base.
