Appointment with Death

Edit

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

At the market, the Arab sells his wares using dinars. Dinars were not legal tender in Palestine, they used Palestinian pounds.

Street vendors often deal in the Black Market, and currencies other than "legal tender" often are used.

Miscellaneous

There wasn't enough time for Lady Westholme to travel from Poirot's side to the market in time to see Hassan run by her.

Anachronisms

The movie is set in 1937, ten years before the discovery of Qumran where the assassination occurs.
(at around 16 mins) Several female extras (mostly in the background) on the boat have obvious 1980s hairstyles (big, teased, loose). However, there is a glaringly obvious hair and costume mistake with the woman on the recliner in front of Poirot.
The very first shot in the film has the story set in 1937, but in the very next shot Ginevra is reading the March 1938 issue of "Daring Detective," the same one Raymond reads toward the end of the film. Likewise, a magazine read by Jefferson in mid-May 1937 was not published until at least a year later.
There is incorrect jewelry on several female characters for the time period, especially Dr. King.
