Sharon Stone and Richard Chamberlain in Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1986)

Goofs

Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold

Edit

Continuity

When Quatermain ask Swarma if he told his brother how to find the lost city, Swarma is standing to his left (for the viewers, right), but in the next shot they have switched positions.
When Quatermain shoots at the Golden Orb stone, to push it back in place and close the pit, two of the shots create marks on the Golden Orb symbol. After the pit closes the camera moves in on the Golden Orb symbol and it is unmarked.
When Swarma passes out beside Agon he lands with his necklace clearly on his chest. When the Eshowe Warrior Chief stabs him with the spear his necklace is gone.

Revealing mistakes

As the Eshowe Warrior Chief spears Swarma, while he is passed out on the ground, the 'metal' tip of the spear bends as it hits him in the chest and then straightens out again as it falls to the side of his body.

Crew or equipment visible

Wires clearly visible when Quatermain jumps through window
When Queen Sorais lands on the guard stretched over the pit (after being flipped by Jessie) the wires around her waist are visible.
While Quatermain is striking the golden lion on the temple roof with the axe during the attack, the cart carrying Agon flips over to the right and behind it can be seen the rope used to help flip it.
Wires holding Quatermain are visible as he swings back and forth trying to get a hold of the edge of the pit, after Sorais opens it and Nasta and he fall in.
After Jesse throws that heavy box at one of the assailants the one behind her grabs her but there is a wire attached to him before Unsloppogas grabs him and lifts him up.

Character error

In the underground river heading for the fire they're supposed to be paddling forward but by their action they're back paddling but not putting the paddles in the water.
