Troll (1986)

Goofs

Troll

Edit

Continuity

Barry's surname is spelled "Taybor" on his door and "Tabor" in the end credits.
At Malcom's apartment, Malcolm fills a glass with apple juice and places the container in the fridge. The shot cuts to Wendy, then back to Malcolm, who fills the glass again and places the container in the fridge.
A small Tiki statue, which is knocked over as Barry and the Troll fight over the baseball bat, rights itself afterward.
When Barry is behind the desk, trying to get away from the Troll, bottles disappear from the desk between shots.
After Barry shoots at the Troll, the baseball bat on the floor moves by itself.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Harry Jr is pounding on the door and yelling "dad! mom!" just before his sister approaches him, his lips aren't saying anything. A bit hard to spot since he's largely obscured by the stairway hand railing.
When Wendy bounces her ball, singing "Pease porridge hot," her mouth says something else.

Crew or equipment visible

An arm is reflected in the TV.
When Harry is on the hallway landing, a gust starts to blow. As he jumps over the ivy vines on the floor, a hand holding a black wind machine appears on the right side of the screen.

Plot holes

The troll, disguised as Wendy, is not wearing the ring when it opens the fridge, touches the milk, and discovers it is cold. The ring allows the troll to be in human form.

Character error

When old Eunice lets down her hair, she becomes her younger self. Yet, later when the troll turns her into a talking block, it speaks with her older voice.
