When Cesar is seen walking around with his watch in his hand while Aimee and Manon are packing, the top of the red bag on the table is already visible even though Aimee and Manon only place it there in the next shot.
During one scene, Cesar Soubeyran produces a small telescope in order to spy on Jean de Florette; however, as he peers through it, the lens cap is clearly in place.
When Jean bends over as he is first fixing his roof, the outline of the padding used to make his hunchback is clearly visible.
