Hamish: [presenting Lucy, a snake, with snake food] Here's some extra, Lucy, because you missed lunch. It's not my fault we were out searching.
Wagstaff: [reading an animal encyclopedia] Just as I thought: those were Fluppies!
[flipping the pages of his encyclopedia]
Wagstaff: Hamish, see if the police have gotten any reports yet.
[reading the fluppies entry]
Wagstaff: "A mythical beast able to speak like humans, from a land of snow and colorfully lighted skies"!
[laughs]
Wagstaff: Mythical, my foot!
[speaking to an imprisoned platypus]
Wagstaff: They thought *you* were mythical once.
[turning to Hamish]
Wagstaff: Get the nets; we're going to scour the city!
Hamish: [as Lucy starts to choke him around his neck and shoulders with her tail; he strains] Be right--there--sir!
Wagstaff: [opening a door to reveal a great hallway] The world's finest collection of exotic animals, and now--FLUPPIEEES!
