Mikhail Baryshnikov and Gregory Hines in White Nights (1985)

Goofs

White Nights

Edit

Continuity

During Chaiko's interrogation of Rodchenko at the clinic, the torn items thrown on Rodchenko change. The image of a partial American Express Gold Card appears, disappears, then re-appears during the course of the questioning.
The aircraft in the opening sequences has antennas on the wingtips when in the air, but not when on the ground. See also the trivia entry.
Mikhail Barishnikov goes through a sky light bare chested and emerges wearing T - shirt.

Crew or equipment visible

When they are beginning their escape, Daria replaces the argument tape with the apology tape. When the tape reaches the end and flips back, playing the apology again, you see a shadow cross the player as a person hits stop and reverse on the player.

Errors in geography

Contrary to the title of the film, White Nights describes the continuous daylight in regions along the Arctic Circle, the moments at the end of the film show the characters engulfed in complete darkness outside the consulate. This would not have happened in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) between May and August.
