When Mo and Charlie enter the post office, it's daytime - quite possibly afternoon. The moment they talk to the letter carrier inside, it's suddenly nighttime.

(around 11 min.) While filming the infomercial with the models, the camera crew frequently changes.

The Stuff wraps over the hotel room and window twice.

The clean bedsheets are suddenly spread with Stuff, when it latches onto David.

The containers "The Stuff" comes in say "ONE PINT (.474 ml)." This is an incorrect conversion. One pint would be either .474 l (not ml) or 474 ml.

When Ben the dog leaves Mr. Vicker's side as Moe says, "Well, I suppose if both of you eat it, it's got to be all right," you can very briefly hear the on-set dog handler tell the dog to stay put.

During the hotel room scene when the stuff is pushing the man up the wall, if you look closely where the two main characters are supposed to be standing and watching the event, you can see they are replaced by stand-ins, and only the characters' voices can be heard.

During the Taste scene at the end with Patrick O'Neal, his character says, "We tested it. We tested it in a small Illinois Town." Between those two sentences, a car horn sounds off from outside the building.

At the 1:09:29 mark the far left of the screen reveals an error made with the composite shot where it appears some of the background from filming the miniature set was left in the final edit.

When Rutherford's chartered plane is seen landing in Georgia, upon exiting the plane, the jet engines are heard winding down, but the starboard engine's fan is clearly seen to be stationary, meaning that the audio of a jet engine spooling down was added in post.

The poster shows Stuff coming out of the mouth and eyes, and Mo tells Fletcher and Evans to eat it "till it's coming out of your eyeballs", but in the movie it never comes out the eyes, only the mouth.

When Jason's older brother is playing video games on the TV, he's playing Zaxxon, but the sound effects are from Joust.

When Moe is threatening the two executives in the penultimate scene, he says, "Keep eating it till it's coming out of your eyeballs." In the next shot, Moe's mouth isn't moving as he finishes the sentence.

After Moe and Nicole get off the jet plane, they leave in a car with two executives. As the car drives away, you can briefly see the camera's shadow on the car (on the left side of the screen).

(around 11 min.) During the studio filming of the Stuff infomercial, the camera's shadow passes over Mo's back.

When the waitress opens the freezer full of the Stuff, the cameraman's shadow is cast on the wall as the shot moves.

(around 38 min.) Camera shadow is visible at the bottom of the fridge door when it swings open.

All of the license plates seen in the movie are from New York State.

Colonel Spears says that his radio station is based near Atlanta, Georgia (where his militia and he eventually broadcast the final warning). However, the signs on the wall of the station say WGHQ and the exteriors are of WBPM, both of which are in Kingston, New York.

New York's Hudson Valley, particularly the western part between the towns of Kingston and New Paltz, stands in for Georgia.

The boom mike can be seen in the window of the wall cabinet in the scene in which David and the scientist examine the newspaper article.

In the scene at the Stuff factory, they stumble across a room full of Stuffies dressed in yellow, lying on the floor. In the shot directly after Jason says "Whatever was inside of them must have just taken off," the camera pans around all of the Stuffies, who all have their mouths open and tongues sticking out. The actor at the top of the screen (the farthest from camera) is wiggling his mouth and tongue rapidly, indicating that not only he is very much alive, but quite likely didn't even hear the director's call of action.

At 1:17:31, Mo is frying The Stuff with electrical cables with a great big smile on his face, despite being anxious, scared and frightened in all other shots..
