While trying to rescue Big Bird from the cage, a box of cookies moves from under Sid Sleaze's head to under his arm in the foreground.
When the State Trooper tells the Sleaze Brothers they can tell their version of their story to the judge Sid cries and Sam turns his head away from the Trooper but in the next shot when the Trooper tells Sid to be a man Sam's head is turned directly at the Trooper and in the next shot his head is turned away from the Trooper when he tells Sid to shut up and turns his head back to the Trooper.
When Linda is retrieving the keys to the cage, Cookie Monster can be seen in the background peeking over Sid Sleaze with his arms hidden. In the very next shot, he has both of them out and is holding a box of cookies.
Before Big Bird jumps from the Sleaze Brothers' truck to the Volkswagen's trunk, his feet move from the edge to about a foot away from it between shots.
When Big Bird points to the keys to the cage, Sam Sleaze is holding them with one finger. In the next shot, he is using four.
When Big Bird, Ruthie, and Floyd are singing "Easy Goin' Day," in the shots of the water pump taken from Big Bird's side of the trough Floyd is holding a reddish-orange watering can directly under the spout, but in the reverse shots of Big Bird from Floyd's side, it is nowhere to be seen. However, this is only because it is out of the camera shot.

The film never shows or explains how the Sesame Street Gang found Ernie and Bert after the Upside Down World song and before Maria calls Bob on Sesame Street at the Gas Station. It is most likely Ernie and Bert somehow crashed their plane and were hitch hiking when the gang found them. It is also never shown if Ernie and Bert told Big Bird about them finding him when he accidentally mistakened them for Miss Finch but it is most likely they did tell him this.
