Boggy Creek II: And the Legend Continues (1983)

Goofs

Boggy Creek II: And the Legend Continues

Edit

Revealing mistakes

When Otis Tucker is changing his flat tire at night, some shots show a long stretch of road behind him which is clearly lit up with broad daylight.

Miscellaneous

If the attorney could be hosed off to get clean, it means the house has plumbing, which makes the outhouse redundant.

Plot holes

The end of the Otis Tucker flashback states that he never regained consciousness after his encounter with the creature, meaning that no one could possibly know any of the details--or that it happened at all. A likely explanation is that Dr. Lockhart simply took an account of an unexplained murder and added his own details, including arbitrarily attributing it to the creature with no evidence. Otherwise, it's simply a massive plot hole.

Character error

When Lockhart and Tim encounter the deer carcass in the road, Lockhart says, "It doesn't matter, Charlie"--the actor's real name.
While waiting for the girls at night, Tim calls Lockhart "Pop." Chuck Pierce Jr., who plays Tim, is the real-life son of Charles B. Pierce, who plays Lockhart.
At one point, Lockhart calls Deputy Williams "Trooper Williams" after having called him "Deputy" until then.
