James Mason, Edward Fox, Cheryl Campbell, and Rebecca Saire in The Shooting Party (1985)

Goofs

The Shooting Party

Edit

Continuity

When Tom Harker kills a poached rabbit, blood sprays into his face and onto his cap. He wipes only a small portion off his face. In the following shots, while Cornelius Cardew asks for directions and Harker walks with him for a bit, no blood is seen on face nor cap anymore.

Anachronisms

The film features several Labrador Retrievers. These were not used for hunting in England in 1913.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

In the outdoor scenes we regularly hear the sound of a willow warbler singing. The bare trees indicate that the film is set in the winter. Willow warblers spend the winter in Africa so would not be heard in England at this time of year.
