The Vultures (1984)

Goofs

The Vultures

Edit

Factual errors

During the German attack in the opening scene, a French soldier is shot, he falls in a bomb crater and he touches an exposed power line with his boots and he is electrocuted. This would be impossible because the rubber soles act as insulators.

Revealing mistakes

Karl's tank is 1967's Austrian light tank SK-105 Kürassier, which has a turret based on a French design developed for the AMX-13.
Gold weighs 19300kg/m³. It would be absolutely impossible for two persons to move a cart with approximately two m³ of gold by hand.
Karl's tank is a post-war French AMX-13, camouflaged as German.

Anachronisms

Truck, burning during opening credits, is 1980's USSR-made KrAZ-256 dumper.

Crew or equipment visible

Around 00:05:01, during explosion, we can see a mannequin laid down on the ground.
