In the beginning of the film when Vanheden and Harry has picked up Sickan from prison, Vanheden starts to drive round and round in a roundabout, obviously not knowing where to go. After some discussion they decide to go to Doris' place, apparently on a whim. Yet when they arrive at Doris' she's expecting them, having made coffee for them and is asking for Sickan as if this has been the plan all along.
At the end of the film when the two suitcases have been mixed up, the one with fishing equipment in it is opened and a knife is pulled out. The police inspector identifies the knife as his and is taken away. But less than a week earlier he has been travelling to and from Ireland, obviously without being stopped at the airport because of the knife.
