Housewife fling to edge of hell and back
pp00212219 March 2000
A dutiful housewife in Sao Paulo finds herself accidentally associated with a handsome devil from a sorted side of life she only dreams about. Her desires pull her away from her family to taste the sexual pleasures the young man offers only to find herself in a world of drug dealers, murder and betrayal. But the films title wins out in the end.

Regina Duarte in her most unexpected role
guisreis14 January 2024
A married woman and mother of two kids fall in love (and has hot sex scenes) with a male prostitute and drug dealer, well played by Paulo Castelli. The tension about what will happen with them is kept along the movie, as he manipulates her and is a man from underground who is obviously not trustable, while she is naive and dazzled. Nice and not well known film by Bruno Barreto, a romantic drama road movie, which has a remarkable detail: the woman is played by Regina Duarte, an actress that was extremely popular as a well-behaved star in soap operas and who eventually became a shocking supporter of far right extremism, and I suppose that she does not like that this movie be broadcast in TV.
