In the scene where Bobby is having his birthday party, there is a band playing a song onstage in Bobby's family backyard. The singer of the band is singing the song, but during the song he is dancing in circles away from the microphone, and his voice is still singing the part of the song, "La Duh Da Duh Da".
When Bobby's dressing after his second night with Terry he buttons his shirt. When he kneels next to her bed his shirt is unbuttoned.
After Terry first swims she covers her head with the hood from her robe. When she turns the corner to enter her room the hood is down and her hair is now dry.
When the guys pull up to Zig's restaurant, they park in front and they all get out. The car is later seen in the parking lot in the rear.
[33:00]Bobby Chrystal asks Terry Green how old she is and she tells him 29. Caren Kaye was 31 at the time of filming, and recent high school graduate Bobby Chrystal was played by 23 year old Matt Lattanzi.
In the opening sequence, Bobby is shown taking his final exam in his high school French class. As the other students finish, they hand in the exam and leave, eventually leaving Bobby all alone as the last student to finish. While that might happen in college, high school students are typically not allowed to leave the classroom until the class period ends, even if they finish the exam early.

The film is supposed to take place during the summer in Southern California, yet when the boys are waiting for the waitress in the diner parking lot, you can clearly see the vapor of the actors' breath.
