After the attack of the water monster, Teegra stabs the last sub-human with a very pointy stick. As she stabs, we see the stick remains lodged in the chest of the sub-human. In the next shot, as she falls on her back recovering from the attack, the stick is back in her hand.
The characters all seem to be mostly immune to the effects of cold, even being able to run nearly naked through a blizzard.
Most of the time the characters cast no shadows.
